Pakistani-Style Chilli Chicken Recipe
Serves 4-6 people
Ingredients:
- 1 kg chicken thighs, cut into small pieces
- 2 teaspoons cornflour
- 100ml extra virgin olive oil
- 2 large green chillies, chopped into 5 pieces each
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 8 cloves garlic, chopped into small pieces
- 1 medium onion, chopped into 4 quarters
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red chilli flakes
Instructions:
- Heat oil and cook chillies: Heat oil in a large wok over high heat. Add chopped chillies and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
- Add chicken and spices: Add chicken, garlic, paprika, black pepper, red chilli flakes, and salt. Cook until the water evaporates.
- Add onions: Add chopped onions and cook for 2 minutes.
- Thicken with cornflour: Mix cornflour with a glass of water and pour into the wok. Cook for 2 minutes on high heat.
Your Pakistani-Style Chilli Chicken is ready! Serve with Basmati Rice.
